COVID-19 presents private practice with a challenge in striking a balance between personal/community welfare and business continuity. RBA is being vigilant and monitoring the situation daily. Our Director, Roger Beeston, is also listening to international colleagues in places more impacted than Australia.
Our approach during these times is we are not stopping, we’re just adapting. Currently the office remains open with a small number of staff manning the front, while the rest of our staff work remotely. We do not envision any major disruptions for any of our projects. The only change you may notice is that RBA will be keeping face-to-face interactions to a minimum, instead conducting meetings and conferring through online platforms.
We will continue to conduct fieldwork, however we will be adhering to the government guidelines and regulations. We will stay informed and remain responsive throughout this period. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any queries.
RBA Architects + Conservation Consultants are a Melbourne based firm with more than 25 years of specialisation and proficiency in architectural design, heritage advice, heritage consultancy and conservation works.
We believe that the future of every society is shaped by the way its heritage is managed, conserved and re-invented. Maintaining this important balance between the past, present and future is a responsibility that consistently inspires the team at RBA.
We work on projects internationally and locally from major infrastructure works to small additions and alterations. Our team merges architects and designers with conservation specialists, historians, heritage consultants, researchers and other specialists.
