In 2004, RBA designed a temperature controlled storage facility located at the south side of Parliament House. A small historic building adjoining the new facility – now a gymnasium – was refurbished as part of this project.

Other projects at The Parliament House of Victoria include:

Refurbishment of the Premier’s office suite, including the Opposition Leader’s office.

Master plan for the north-east (food and beverage) wing, addressing OH+S and BCA requirements and facilitating public access to previously private dining areas.

Redesign of the handrail to the public seating gallery of the legislative assembly chamber to achieve BCA compliance without compromising the heritage integrity of the space.
