Originally from Seattle, Ashley moved to Melbourne in 2022 after falling in love with the city and its architecture during a year of exchange at the University of Melbourne in 2018.

Ashley joined RBA Architects + Conservation Consultants after graduating from the University of Melbourne’s double master’s program with qualifications in both architecture (M.Arch) and heritage (M.UCH).

Ashley is an interdisciplinary and multi-skilled practitioner who is involved across all aspects and phases of project work at rba. She leads our in-house Heritage Innovation and Advancement working group, as well rba’s Heritage Advocacy Taskforce.

Aside from her expertise in both architecture and heritage, Ashley holds a Bachelor in music as an oboist and prolific reedmaker. This unique background informs her perspectives in heritage and architectural practice with strong foundations in artistry, craftmanship, and a firm grasp of intangible cultural heritage.
